Why do I need to notify my bank that I will be paying with an E-Check?
For customers who have enabled FRAUD DETECTION on their bank account, the customer will need to contact their bank and provide the numbers below to authorize E-Check payments to State of Nevada.
When using an E-Check you will need to notify your bank that you are using an E-Check and request that they allow transactions from the following state agencies identified by the numbers as follows:
This will allow the bank to honor your E-Check for payment of your State of Nevada services without causing a denial due to fraud filtering.
Each bank will have its own policies related to fraud detection and so the customer should check with their respective bank regarding how long it takes for the bank to authorize an E-Check to the State of Nevada.
