Why do you need to know if I sell my product or service outside of the state?
Selling outside of the state, or exporting, is core to economic development. When a business exports its product or service, money flows back into Nevada and encourages business expansion. New jobs created from such business growth are called primary jobs; they produce goods or services in excess of what the local marketplace consumes. The first step of growing Nevada’s economy is assisting local businesses to grow and to create primary jobs. The information you share by completing your Common Business Registration profile allows Nevada economic development agencies to understand what products and/or services are being exported and how they can assist in promoting efforts.
